Philip’s busy role sees him visiting all parts of the country – here’s what he has to say about his role at Bateman Sprayers
My role at Bateman is:
To PDI, deliver & demonstrate Bateman Sprayers.
A typical day for me at Bateman involves:
A varied amount of jobs included in my role. Therefore I could be working on a Pre-Delivery Inspection; on the road trucking with a machine going to its new home or working alongside one of our sales team demonstrating Bateman Sprayers to new and existing customers.
The most enjoyable aspect of my current role is:
Visiting all corners of the country and delivering Bateman Sprayers to happy farmers.
I would say life at Bateman is:
Unique, sometimes stressful but overall a lot of fun!
Before I joined Bateman I was:
An Arable Foreman on a large dairy farm in Devon.
If I have time to myself I enjoy:
Being an active member of Withleigh Young Farmers Club, shooting and helping out on the family farm.
The best advice I have ever been given is:
Don’t be last onto the ship because it might have already sailed!
